Dole to launch new pineapple variety at IFPA show
In the early 2000s, the fresh produce research and development team at Dole Food Co. had the idea to bring something new to the pineapple category. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility intercepted $1.6 million in alleged cocaine concealed in a trailer hauling a shipment of limes.
