“Duda Farm Fresh Foods has exhibited at the New York Produce Show and Conference since its inception and we will be there again this year,” said Nichole Towell, marketing director for the Oviedo, FL-based company. “We are really looking forward to this show. Each year it proves to be an even bigger success in terms of the foot traffic and types of people visiting. Maurice A. Auerbach: a veteran of the New York Produce Show
Bruce Klein, director of marketing for Maurice A. Auerbach in Secaucus, NJ, told The Produce News that the company is a veteran of the New York Produce Show, adding that the first three shows in New York City were great experiences, and that the show was enhanced greatly when it moved from the Hilton Hotel to Pier 94 at 55th Street and the West Side Highway.
The company will be exhibiting at Booth No. 330 at the NYPS.
Vision Import Group feels that regional shows have taken on an important role in the produce industry
“We have exhibited at the New York Produce Show every year since its inception,” Ronnie Cohen, vice president of sales for Vision Import Group LLC, in River Edge, NJ, told The Produce News. “We are active members of the Eastern Produce Council, and we attend a lot of meetings. And, this is our region, and so many of our customers and prospective customers attend this show.”
Cohen said that he believes that regional shows have taken on a life of their own — one that offers much more one-on-one intimacy between customers and suppliers.

Mastronardi appreciates the high volume of key retailers at the NYPS
“The New York Produce Show is a quick and affordable show where there is a high volume of key retailers, wholesalers and foodservice industry contacts,” said Daniela Ferro, communications coordinator for Mastronardi Produce/Sunset, headquartered in Kingsville, Ontario. “We work with a lot of East Coast buyers, so this is a great opportunity to get some face time with them and showcase our products.”
Southern Specialties promoting new products at the New York Produce Show
“We will definitely be returning to exhibit at the New York Produce Show again this year,” Charlie Eagle, vice president of business development for Southern Specialties, headquartered in Pompano Beach, FL, told The Produce News.
“We have exhibited at every show since its inception. Obviously, the first year our experience was so good that we were compelled to return for a second, third and now fourth,” he said.
Brooks Tropicals enjoys the personal time with customers at the NYPS
“The New York Produce Show is great for not only meeting and greeting buyers, but I love how many produce department folks attend,” said Mary Ostlund, marketing director for Brooks Tropicals, LLC, headquartered in Homestead, FL. It’s great talking to them, getting their feedback and perhaps making suggestions for their work.”
The company will be exhibiting at the NYPS, being held on Dec. 10-12 at Pier 94 in New York City. Executive, sales and marketing staff will be on hand to meet with visitors.

In honor of Veterans Day, Food Lion stores will offer a 10 percent discount to active and retired military personnel to show its support and appreciation for those who are currently serving or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. To receive the discount, active military, reservists and veterans should present their MVP card at checkout and request the discount.
