Mini-sweet pepper pack is in trials by Hearty Fresh
Hearty Fresh Inc. is conducting packaging trials with a Michigan grower to pack mini sweet peppers, according to Nick Huizinga, general manager of the firm, which is located in Byron Center, MI. There are test plots of the peppers growing this spring. If the trial works, Hearty Fresh may expand the product to a year-round offering.
The company sources from growers throughout many parts of the United States, Canada and Mexico.
