Eagle Eye Produce, a grower-shipper of fresh produce based in Idaho Falls, ID, started shipping new crop russet, red and yellow potatoes from its packing facilities in Idaho and Washington this week, as well as a new crop of yellow, red and white onions from its facilities in western Idaho and eastern Oregon.

Stemilt is back on the road this year with The Great American Rave Race, building on the success of the 2019 Rave Road trip. This year’s campaign aims to raise widespread awareness for the branded apple among consumers and produce buyers alike. Stemilt Marketing Director Brianna Shales said the company is encouraging consumers to catch the apple before it’s gone during its short season.

The next FPFC event is the second annual FPFC Luau, A Mahalo Celebration, on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, CA.

Costa Farms has shifted its commercial strategy to put an increased focus on the end consumer. As a part of this strategy, the company has launched a branding effort and consumer marketing campaign, as well as doubling down on efforts to educate and engage with the end consumer.

Jeremy Gosch has been named the CEO and president of Hy-Vee’s retail operations as well as vice chairman of Hy-Vee’s board of directors. Gosch will lead alongside Aaron Wiese, who will serve as CEO and president of Hy-Vee’s subsidiaries and supply chain as well as vice chairman of Hy-Vee’s board of directors. Gosch’s new leadership role will take effect Oct. 1.
