Under clear and sunny skies Friday, April 10, Nature Fresh Farms along with key state and local officials broke ground on Phase I of the company’s new 180-acre Delta, OH, greenhouse facility.
Mucci Farms guarantees engaging experience at convention
The show floor will be electric at Booth No. 215, the hub of convention activities for Mucci Farms, headquartered in Kingsville, Ontario. “Mucci Farms will have a large representation at CPMA,” Marketing Coordinator Emily Murracas told The Proudce News. “Our entire sales and marketing team will be present along with company owners, a total of 15 team members.”
Balancing out the busy schedule, Mucci Farms is sponsoring the Relaxation Lounge at the convention.
OriginO sees good production in 2015 organic greenhouse season
With British Columbia’s organic greenhouse English cucumber season well underway, Raymond Wong said on March 23 he is expecting beefsteak and tomatoes-on-the-vine as well as red, yellow and orange bell peppers to start shipping by early April.
Wong, president of Origin Organic Farms in Delta, B.C., said the greenhouse season will run through November, and he noted a mild winter leading into 2015’s initial shipping made for somewhat early product and also exceptional taste and texture.
