Marketing Plus earns seven gold medal advertising awards
Fruits and vegetables are known to grow in abundance in Fresno, CA. Also in Fresno, Marketing Plus is proving that creativity and marketing savvy are flourishing.
At the recent 2015 American Advertising Awards ceremony presented by the Fresno Advertising Federation, Marketing Plus scored seven gold medals for campaigns it ran for clients: Sunlight International/J.P. Dulcich & Sons, Well-Pict Berries, Nature’s Joy, Devine Organics, and Mr. Box Inc., as well as a little self promotion.
“I’m very proud of our team, and all their hard work for our clients,” said Julie Lucido, owner and chief executive officer of Marketing Plus.
Marketing Plus won in multiple categories and media types, from print ads to digital video to trade show booths.
The crowning achievement may have been its work on Sunlight International’s “Roll out the red carpet” campaign in 2014, which was integrated through multiple channels. From the ad concepts, to QR codes, promotional videos and bag design, to trade show booth design and consumer experience, “Roll out the red carpet” rang through.
“The Marketing Plus team first got my attention several years ago when they did the Eiffel tower theme for Well-Pict,” said Nick Dulcich, president of Sunlight International. “Their commitment to excellence matches ours. The Red carpet theme was truly unique and fresh. We are proud to partner with Marketing Plus.”
“The last few years, we’ve stepped up our game, even marketing ourselves. We are the only local agency that fully manages trade shows, design, logistics, and hospitality,” added Lucido. “We always want to deliver positive feedback for our clients. Our success is their success.”
“When we started the flavored pistachio project we didn’t have a specific vision for the package design. Katrina and the Marketing Plus team took the ‘feel’ words we gave them and came back with several interpretations, all on target, and we proceeded from that point to the final design,” said Debbie Loyd, operations manager at Nature’s Joy.
Marketing Plus celebrated 30 years as a family-owned company in 2014.
