Trendspotting: Online grocery sales expected to thrive in coming years

Change to the grocery landscape may be on the horizon. While grocery sales are expected to grow by 1.6 percent through 2028, the online segment, eGrocery, is projected to increase by 4.5 percent, more than three times faster the rate expected for in-store, according to U.S. eGrocery Sales Forecast: 2024-28, a report developed by Brick Meets Click and sponsored by Mercatus.
