CPMA President Ron Lemaire delivered his State of the Industry Address April 24 at the CPMA 2024 Delegate Lunch in Vancouver highlighting the resilience of the fresh produce sector amid global challenges.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association kicked off its 2024 convention April 23 with an opening reception at the Terminal City Club in beautiful downtown Vancouver. Attendees had a chance to network while sampling tasty culinary delights ahead of the much-anticipated trade show.

Bags are packed and DelFrescoPure is on the road to Vancouver to showcase its array of conventional and organic greenhouse-grown produce in booth No. 621 at the Canadian Produce Marketing Association Convention and Trade Show. The company's The Original Cherry Tomatoes on the Vine will make their Canadian grand entrance, heralding a fresh chapter in the produce arena that celebrates both flavor and sustainability.

Welcoming the industry on its home turf of Vancouver for the first time since 2018, Oppy will be showcasing its local growers in booth No. 915 at the CPMA trade show.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association, the International Federation for Produce Standards and the Global Coalition of Fresh Produce have named the speakers who will lead discussions around sustainability challenges for the produce industry at the upcoming International Sustainability Summit, on Friday, April 26, in Vancouver.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association announced 20 rising stars who will participate in the 2024 Passion for Produce program in Vancouver.

As an added value to membership, Passion for Produce  was created by CPMA in 2010 to provide young professionals in the produce industry with the opportunity to accelerate their professional development through a unique mentoring experience at the CPMA’s Annual Convention and Trade Show.
