Consalo Family Farms has been in the farming industry since the 1920s and four generations of the Consalo family have kept the company thriving and successful. That includes attending events like the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure show.

For more than four decades, WP Produce, a family-owned and operated grower, packer and shipper of Desbry tropical produce for the U.S. grocery retail and foodservice industry, has been a leader in importing tropical avocados from the Dominican Republic and is a full-line purveyor of tropical and exotic items.

Riggio Distribution Co., doing business on the Detroit Produce Terminal, is a customer-driven company dedicated to making its customers profitable and competitive in the marketplace by providing them with safe, secure, quality produce.

It was precisely two years ago when produce industry veteran Mike Madden started Macadu Fresh, a business focused on growing, importing and distributing quality fresh fruits from its headquarters in Vineland, NJ, and alternate space in Miami.

Vick Family Farms has been growing sweetpotatoes since the early ’80s and its Carolina Gold brand has been on the shelves since 1996. 

Nash Produce originated in 1977 as a large farming and produce packing/shipping operation focused on cucumbers, but in 2006, a collection of local growers saw the need for a packing facility, which led to the purchase of Nash Produce. Since then, the company has transitioned away from cucumbers to a more singular focus on sweet potatoes.

Today, Nash Produce has dedicated itself to growing sweet potatoes and has become a leading supplier out of its farm in Nashville, NC.
