Market Fresh hires VMI specialist, promotes another
Market Fresh, a Nixa, MO-based distributor of a full line of produce items, including avocados, peppers, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes and tomatoes, announced the hiring of Courtney Rivera as a vendor managed inventory specialist, reporting to Brian Morris, director of VMI.
In her new role, Rivera will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of daily replenishment of orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Hirakata Farms looking at more varietals and organics in 2016
Hirakata Farms, located in the Rocky Ford region of Colorado’s Arkansas Valley, is going into the 2016 season with plans to ramp up overall production of honeydew melons as well as more conventional varietals and a limited amount of organics, according to Gene Schneider, sales representative for the company.
