San Francisco Bay area’s Donald J. Sorani dies at 80
Donald J. Sorani of Shallotte, NC, died April 13 after a brief battle with cancer. He was 80.
Mr. Sorani was born and raised in Oakland, CA, and owned and operated Richmond Produce Co. in Richmond, CA. He developed his passion for produce by joining his father, Joseph, in the family business in 1968 and took over ownership in the early 80s.
