Hood River Cherry Co.’s orchards are situated in a pristine river valley off the Columbia River Gorge, flanked by the monolith that is Mt. Hood. The Giant Co.'s Healing Our Planet initiative raised more than $1.46 million to support Rodale Institute, Planet Bee Foundation and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. The campaign, now in its third year, has raised more than $5.6 million to grow health and sustainability initiatives.

Floriexpo 2023, held from May 31 to June 2 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center, was an extraordinary three-day event that brought together floral vendors and mass market floral buyers from a wide range of sectors. The expo showcased an extensive selection of products, spanning from fresh cut flowers and greens to potted plants, containers, plush, technology, gift items, logistics and everything in between.

C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. appointed Dave Bozeman as CEO and a member of the board of directors effective June 26. Scott Anderson, who has been serving as interim CEO since January 2023, will continue in his role until Bozeman joins the company and will work with him to ensure a smooth transition of leadership. Anderson will continue to serve as a member of C.H. Robinson’s board of directors.
