Attendees of the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral Show will have an added incentive to stop by the North Bay Produce booth on the expo floor.

Officials at the New Jersey Department of Agriculture have a lot to talk about at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral show. With its signature Jersey Fresh brand celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, officials at the NJDA want to rejoice in the program’s success and let more and more people know about the many crops grown in the state that is home to nearly 9,900 farms and about 750,000 acres of farmland.

There was a lot to celebrate in September. It has International Literacy Day and International Day of Peace. For those who took up bread baking during COVID-19, it’s also Sourdough September. It’s even my birthday.

 At IFPA and The Foundation of Fresh Produce, however, we’re naturally focused on National Fruits and Veggies Month.

Blueberries are at the heart of Consalo Family Farms, the family-owned agricultural operation located in Vineland, NJ.
