Los Angeles-based Giumarra Agricom International has announced the opening of its new avocado-packing facility in Ventura, CA. The grand opening was held June 22 and was attended by Giumarra staff as well as April Aymami and David Cruz from the California Avocado Commission.

Salinas, CA-based D’Arrigo Bros. Co. of California and the Bounty Hunter Monster Truck of 2Xtreme Racing have teamed up for a design contest, the winner of which will inspire the Bounty Hunter’s new paint job. The contest is part of the two entities’ Racin’ For a Cure partnership, which combines the sport of racing with the healthy lifestyle supported by D’Arrigo’s “Andy Boy” fresh vegetables.
