Bill Litvin, vice president of sales and national account manager for Giorgio Fresh headquartered in Temple, PA, said that the company has exhibited at every New York Produce Show since its inception, and this year is no exception. The company will be at Booth No. 448 at Pier 94 on Dec. 10-12.

“This is a great show with outstanding support from the retail community and the grower-shipper side,” said Litvin. “And New York City is certainly a pull for people because of the festive time of the year.”

“We do not exhibit at the New York Produce Show, but we certainly do attend due to the large audience,” Robert A. Goldstein, owner and president of Genpro Inc. in Rutherford, NJ, told The Produce News.

“We are involved in the planning process of the show, and I serve on the board of the Eastern Produce Council,” he said. “Planning this show is therefore a collaborative effort on the part of everyone involved.”

“The New Jersey Department of Agriculture will definitely have a presence at the New York Produce Show on Dec. 10-12,” said Al Murray, assistant secretary of agriculture for the NJ Department of Agriculture located in Trenton, NJ. “We will be at Booth No. 607. We have exhibited every year since this show began in 2010, and we’re looking forward to another outstanding show.”

He added that the agency finds the NYPS to be one of the most important events on its trade show calendar.

“We will be exhibiting at the New York Produce Show next to our cousins, D’Arrigo Bros. Co. of California, which is headquartered in Salinas,” Matthew D’Arrigo, vice president of D’Arrigo Bros. Co. of New York Inc., located at the Hunts Point Terminal Produce Cooperative Market, told The Produce News. “We don’t see that there is much choice about exhibiting at this show. It puts our suppliers together with our customers, and we have to be there in the middle to represent ourselves.”

“We have been exhibiting at the New York Produce Show since its beginning,” Kurt Zuhlke, Jr., president and chief executive officer Kurt Zuhlke & Associates, headquartered in Bangor, PA, told The Produce News. “The quality of the attendees at this show is a lot more of the decision makers, especially for smaller companies whose decision makers can’t attend the national shows.”

The show is being held at Pier 94, Dec. 10-12. Kurt Zuhlke & Associates will be exhibiting at Booth No. 609.

“We have exhibited at the New York Produce Show every year since its inception,” said Louis Hymel, director of purchasing and marketing for Spice World Inc., headquartered in Orlando, FL. “We will be at Booth No. 468, with a sales and executive staff to meet and greet customers and prospective customers alike.”

He added that the show is great, and many of Spice World’s customers attend, but on the heels of the PMA Fresh Summit, and with the holiday season right after, it keeps produce professionals hustling during this period of time.
