Summer Citrus from South Africa wrapped up a successful and record-breaking 2022 season. To date, all of the fruit has been shipped and will arrive to the ports before the end of the month of October.

Due to strategic planning and preparation, SCSA reports an increase in volume by approximately 17 percent when compared to 2021. This season, the brand shipped record volumes of oranges along with larger arrivals of easy peelers, which have quickly become more popular with consumers.

World Fresh Produce, an importer and marketer of high-quality produce from around the globe, has formed an alliance with Montreal-based produce distributor Fruits et Legumes Gaetan Bono that will create new opportunities for each company.

The alliance joins two like-minded companies that complement each other, according to Michel Matouk, president of World Fresh, and Salvatore Lavorato, vice president of Bono.
