Glory Foods has partnered with leading grower Herndon Farms to introduce this new line of Glory Vidalia Onions combining decades of consumer trust in these two companies with one of America’s most sought-after seasonal produce items.

Vidalia Sweet Produce is a trusted woman-owned farming company specializing in the production, shipping and sales of Vidalia sweet onions, as well as red and yellow onions. Operated by the leaders of Collins Family Farms with 44 years of experience, the company also handles watermelons and Vidalia sweet potatoes, though sweet onions account for 75 percent of total sales.

The 2026 Vidalia onion season is set to start on the official pack date of April 13, and Shuman Farms expects to have favorable quality and availability of both conventional and organic Vidalias, with onions expected to ship through Labor Day.
