Wholesale Produce opens sales office in Canada
Minneapolis-based Wholesale Produce Supply announced that it has opened an affiliated sales office in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
"With the opening of this sales office, we are demonstrating our commitment to better serve our customers in Canada," said Brian Hauge, president of Wholesale Produce. "Our future goals are to further expand our business in Canada, which will enable us to provide even greater customer service. We are very excited and optimistic to commence this new connection, and we believe we will continue to develop and increase our business in Canada."
The office, which opened Oct. 1, is headed by Shari Keeler, who resides in Winnipeg. Ms. Keeler has extensive knowledge of the produce industry. Prior to joining Wholesale Produce, she worked for Peak of the Market for eight years, where she represented Manitoba vegetable growers. She is well known throughout the produce industry in western Canada.
Ms. Keeler will be based in Winnipeg, and in conjunction with the supporting staff at the Minneapolis facility, she will be able to provide an extensive variety of fruits and vegetables to her clients in Canada.
