D’Arrigo New York is one of the most prominent produce players at the Hunts Point Produce Market in the Bronx, with a rich history that goes back more than 60 years.

Late last year, Jacobs Village Farm Corp., rebranded as Jacob’s Tomato Corp., and the Brooklyn, NY-based company is seeing big dividends from the name change.

Maurice A. Auerbach Inc. is situated in Secaucus, NJ, about 22 miles from the Bronx and the Hunts Point Terminal Market. Being so close to one of the world’s largest markets allows one of the East Coast’s largest garlic providers to see lots of action.

The New York Apple Association has named Tony Mikiciuk, who joined the organization in December, as its new designer, social media and trade advertising director.

Mikiciuk will collaborate with the NYAA internal team and New York apple shippers to develop integrated digital marketing campaigns and lead shopper and digital marketing, social, PR and advertising programs.
