Fresh Express, a brand leader in value-added fresh salads, is not letting global supply chain woes stand in the way of achieving its North American sustainability goals. According to Vice President Fabian Pereria, who directs sustainability efforts, the company has recently adopted the use of reduced gauge corrugate to circumvent shortages and also contribute to increased sustainability.

Taylor Farms’ Guanajuato, Mexico, facility has received TRUE Platinum certification from Green Business Certification Inc., making it one of the first fresh food companies in Mexico to receive this recognition. To date, Taylor Farms has received the TRUE Platinum certification at four facilities in North America.
