Summeripe Worldwide Inc. of Dinuba, CA, announced the addition of Simonian Fruit Co. of Fowler, CA to the Summeripe Alliance of tree fruit shippers.
Simonian is a multigenerational, diversified family-farming company with a long tradition of quality growing and involvement in the California tree fruit industry.
Pat Steider, president of Summeripe Worldwide Inc., stated, "The joining of Simonian will further strengthen and expand the Summeripe Alliance to address the increasing demand by retailers and customers for Summeripe ready-to-eat tree fruit. Simonian?s quality and tradition of personal and operational integrity over the years will be valuable on many levels for the Summeripe Alliance."
The Summeripe Alliance is an association of leading growers of Californian and Chilean tree fruit who share a common vision and passion for conditioned peaches, plums and nectarines that have a superior flavor profile leading to "the ultimate eating experience? for the consumer.
Now in its sixth season of operation, Simonian joins existing Summeripe Alliance members Family Tree Farms Inc., George Bros. Inc., Giannini Packing Co., Mountain View Fruit Sales Inc., Pandol Bros. Inc. and Wespak Sales Co.
