Hohenrieder brings 20 years of experience in agribusiness and investment management to Farmland LP and will be responsible for acquisitions, asset management and strategy.
“Stephen brings a wealth of experience and success creating value in long-term assets,” Craig Wichner, co-founder and managing partner of the firm, said in a press release. “His expertise will be invaluable as we scale our largest farmland fund to date.”
Hohenrieder’s previous career roles include firm management and leadership, asset allocation and due diligence, deal and capital sourcing, portfolio management, and operating roles in portfolio companies. “My role at Farmland LP perfect integrates my education and life-long interest in agriculture with my investment and operating experience to build a practical portfolio of real assets that support a healthier food system,” Hohenrieder said in the release.
