Southern Exposure's atmosphere increases connections for Oneonta
The intimate atmosphere at Southern Exposure gives Oneonta Starr Ranch Growers ongoing opportunities to strengthen business relationships and build new ones.
The company is headquartered in Wenatchee, WA, and was one of Washington’s first exporters of apples. Today, the company offers its domestic and international customers a wide array of quality apples, pears, cherries, stone fruits, table grapes, citrus and other commodities.

In addition to Wohlford, Director of Marketing Scott Marboe, National Marketing Representative Bruce Turner and Donna Drury, who handles domestic sales, will be available to meet with attendees.
“This show, and really this whole weekend, allows us to see our current customers and to meet prospective customers in an atmosphere that is relaxed and at a pace where there is time to really connect,” Wohlford told The Produce News. “Of course, the expo is vital for us to see customers. However, the workshops and the social opportunities also give us shared experience that will help us build relationships.”
Oneonta plans to feature its pouch bag at the expo. “This type of bag has proven to be popular with consumers in other produce commodities and it has shown to be a hit with apples and pears, too,” Wohlford stated. “We will be talking about the pouch bag and also that there are still plenty of apples and pears left to sell this spring and summer. While sales have been brisk, there are plenty of promotional opportunities for the rest of winter and into the spring and summer months.”
