Spice World showcasing newest products at Southern Exposure
Spice World grows and distributes fresh garlic, ginger, shallots and other specialty items, offering them in peeled, minced and convenient squeezable formats to supermarkets nationwide.
At its core, the company is driven by a commitment to consistent, high-quality, year-round supply and exceptional customer service — principles that guide every aspect of the business and have helped establish Spice World as a trusted partner within the category for retail customers across the U.S.
The company is gearing up for the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure with its regional sales team for the Southeast, including Drew Caneza, Jon Buchwald and Richard Ryan, attending.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to spend time face-to-face with our customers and meet on an individual basis with them, even if it is simply to thank them for their business,” said Mike Smith, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Spice World. “It is vital to keep our name and products top-of-mind with both and look for additional avenues to continue to build relationships.”
Spice World will occupy booth No. 709 and will feature its entire product line.
“This includes our newest products that consumers are loving: Refrigerated Fresh Diced Garlic, Refrigerated Peeled Ginger and our Garlic & Ginger Seasoning Blend,” Smith said. “Two big trends we are seeing from consumers are a desire for a simplified life and dinner routine, and ingredients that contribute to vitality and longevity with health. Our fresh garlic and peeled ginger do both — they make healthy eating simpler, and they promote healthy aging and vitality.”
At the show, the Spice World team is looking forward to talking with those in the industry about the trends they are seeing and how the company can be a strong partner for those looking for a new partner.
“First, we like to listen to our customers and learn more about their needs and we also talk about how the wide variety of Spice World products allows home cooks to easily create rich, flavorful dishes for the entire family to savor,” Smith said. “Whether it is garlic, ginger, shallots or our seasoning blends, we will be having conversations that can help.”
Networking is one of the things Spice World looks forward to every year at Southern Exposure and this year is no different.
“SEPC is a great time to network with both our customers and fellow produce suppliers,” Smith said. “We are thankful for the opportunity to meet with our customers and to continue to develop products that make cooking easier for consumers. A successful show for us is well attended with customers eager to engage with us on a variety of topics.”
Around the company, Spice World recently opened its new expanded R&D kitchen — the Ann Caneza Culinary Innovation Center — and are enthusiastic about several exciting chef partnerships to create new ideations and innovations.
“Spice World’s DNA is built around innovation, high-quality garlic and delivering outstanding customer service,” Smith said. “Those key pillars guide all we do and have allowed us to become the trusted partner in our category with our retail partners.”
