San Diego Farms makes changes to senior leadership
San Diego Farms, parent company of Fresh Origins and BrightFresh Microgreens, announced senior leadership promotions for Tiago Castro, now vice president of operations, and Shelby Rodich, now director of marketing.
Castro's new role recognizes his record of professional excellence and contributions to the company's expansion. Castro previously served as director of operations for the company, where he led significant capacity growth and strengthened production processes to support customers nationwide.
With over 20 years of experience in agriculture, Castro brings deep operational expertise to his expanded role.
"Tiago's leadership has been essential in shaping how we operate," said Greg Cyr, president and CEO of San Diego Farms. "His promotion reflects both his proven results and the confidence we place in him to guide the next phase of our growth."
Rodich brings a fresh perspective and momentum to the senior leadership team. She previously served as senior marketing manager, where she led digital marketing, brand development and trade engagement initiatives for both Fresh Origins and BrightFresh Microgreens, elevating the brands' presence among chefs, retailers and consumers nationwide.
In her expanded role, Rodich will lead integrated marketing and brand strategy across the organization's portfolio, with a focus on strengthening category leadership and deepening relationships across the foodservice and retail channels.
“These promotions reflect the growth and momentum we are building at San Diego Farms,” said Cyr. “Our newly defined leadership team represents our core values — integrity, accountability and excellence — and places the right people in the right positions as we enter our next phase.”
The organization’s legacy of innovation and quality will be carried out by the newly appointed leadership team, with an emphasis on delivering even greater value to customers and partners in the years ahead.
