Salyer American adds to its sales team
Salyer American Fresh Foods Inc., based in Salinas, CA, announced the hiring of Todd S. Pearson to its sales team. Mr. Pearson will be involved with developing new business and servicing Salyer American's midwestern and national accounts.
A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, Mr. Pearson holds a degree in agribusiness marketing. He brings six years of experience in produce sales and service, having worked for BoniPak Produce LLC as an account manager/commodity manager for five years, and he also worked as a buyer for OK Produce in Fresno, CA, where he established customer relations with national accounts and developed promotional activities for new and upcoming items for the produce industry.
"We are excited to have Todd as a member of our sales team," Lyn Hughes, senior director of sales and marketing for Salyer American, said in a statement. "We are poised for growth, and Todd will be essential in helping us achieve our objectives."
Established in 1986, Salyer American provides year-round quality supplies under the "American Classic," "American Pride" and "Blue Chip" labels.
