Safeway Group bringing new products and extensive services to New York Produce Show
The Safeway Group LLC, headquartered in Vineland, NJ, is looking forward to exhibiting at the New York Produce Show on Dec. 1-3. Vice President, Business Development, Amy Erianne said the company will be at booth No. 517.
“Last year was the first time we exhibited at the show, and it proved to be a great opportunity to meet with retailers, showcase our capabilities and discuss how we can partner to bring exceptional products to market,” said Erianne. “At this year’s show we will feature Safeway as a one-stop shop for quality commissary prepared fresh foods, and discuss the diverse product portfolio we offer.”
She added that the company will also be promoting other services and abilities it has, enabling it to be a value-added solutions’ partner. These services include the ability to service customers’ storage and logistical needs through its Safeway Freezer Storage and Safeway Distributors and Logistics divisions.
“Whether you are a processor of finished goods or a purveyor of meats, fish, and produce that supply the industrial, retail, and foodservice industries, cold is critical,” Erianne stressed. “Safeway Freezers can be our clients’ partner for storage in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.”
The company will also showcase new products, including its Tossed! salad line.
“This features a mix of quality ingredients, perfectly paired and ready to go,” said Erianne. “Designed to deliver a delicious fresh eating experience, Tossed! Includes all the essentials, and it’s a year-round program.
“We will also feature our layered salad line,” she continued. “This combines layers of flavors through chopped ingredients that present a colorful salad presentation. Just toss and enjoy the fresh, delightful flavors layered together in one grab-and-go bowl.”
Safeway’s new lettuce wraps are also a new grab-and-go item. The wraps combine grain salads with fresh romaine filets for a cool, unique treat.
The company also offers “Sunnyside Farms” organic vegetable and fruit solutions. All the prepping is completed and ready to toss, steam or sauté, resulting in nutritious fast food.
“We will also promote our other services, such as Safeway Distributors and Logistics services,” said Erianne. “Safeway covers from Maine to Florida and as far west as Michigan. The company’s “TWIC” and “Sealink” approved drivers can access New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania ports.
“With access to global markets and those in our backyard, we can be an extension of clients’ logistics management program,” Erianne continued. “Our commitment is to provide customers with outstanding service and solutions through reliable, cost effective, safe and efficient transportation.”
