For the second time LG Herndon Jr. Farms has partnered with the Gary Sinise Foundation for Vidalia onion season. This partnership will have two cycles during the 2023 Vidalia onion season where onions will be shipped with special co-branded packaging that highlights the work of the foundation, the Memorial Day Promotion and the July Fourth Promotion.

Church Brothers Farms launched a new campaign intended to highlight the company’s heritage, value pillars and capabilities with a simple yet powerful theme. Starting this week, “Our Roots Run Deep” will begin to appear in advertising, social media, the company website and in a new video featuring Founder and Chairman Steve Church as well as CEO Brian Church, Chief Operations Officer Jeff Church and Chief Performance Officer Chuck Church.

Side Delights is starting grilling season with grill-ready potato products and recipes as consumers continue to value meals at home — indoors and out. Grilling and BBQ season sizzles in the summer, kicking off on the Memorial Day holiday and lasting through Labor Day weekend. According to a recent study on top summer grilling trends, 92 percent of shoppers plan to grill between May and September, and 62 percent of shoppers will grill multiple nights per week during these months.

The Idaho Potato Commission was declared the Grand Champion at the National Agri-Marketing Association’s award show held on April 26 in St. Louis, MO, for its public relations campaign Frites by Idaho. In February 2022 the French fry-scented perfume created a PR frenzy — selling out within hours and generating international publicity, including coverage on The Stephen Colbert Show, FOX News Sunday With Shannon Bream, Access Hollywood, The Kelly Clarkson Show and the BBC.

G&R Farms, a third-generation Vidalia onion grower in southeast Georgia, partnered with the American Cornhole Organization. The promotion includes the Acing Summer Flavors cookbook and will culminate in an online showcase of athlete profiles at ACO’s Go the Distance Festival being held at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, IA, in August.  

With warmer weather in the forecast, Litehouse is celebrating National Salad Month (May) with its latest Litehouse in the House campaign centered around salads — the unofficial food of the season according to 43 percent of consumers who say summer is the best time to eat salads.
