Ocean Mist Farms' Oxnard winter crop artichoke program is in full production — and the Coachella season is just beginning — providing excellent volumes to meet customer demand and keep consumers happy through the holiday season and into the new year.

Danziger, a global leader in bedding plants, cut flowers and foliage production, is announcing the first dedicated rooting station for its Floresta foliage program. The company is partnering with Moss Hill Foliage, a wholesale grower of tropicals, based in Apopka, FL.

Goldenberry Farms has expanded its mixed-origin organic and conventional lime program, featuring expanded growing regions in Meta and Santander, Colombia.  

The focus of this multi-origin program is sustainability and minimizing gaps that can occur from single-origin commodity items.

The American Floral Endowment announced that it is awarding $63,990 in Educational Grants to 19 organizations in 2023-24.This funding will help these organizations host conferences, teach students and educators about the floral industry, offer programs such as greenhouse training and florist certification classes, promote sustainability practices and more.

Alex Holt has been appointed Ahold Delhaize's chief sustainability officer and a member of the executive committee of Ahold Delhaize, effective no later than June 1, 2024. Holt succeeds Jan Ernst de Groot, Ahold Delhaize’s chief legal officer and chief sustainability officer, who will retire May 31, 2024.
