Trinity Fruit Co. announced that Gunner White has been appointed to the role of corporate vice president. White has been working with Trinity in a sales role since 2014.

Taylor Farms and Earthbound Farm will be at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce and Floral Show in Anaheim, CA, at booth No. 2097 with numerous products featured within the New Product Showcase.

Berry prices appear to be leveling off as raspberries, blueberries and strawberries are down notably in price over the previous week. However, blackberries remain high. According to ProduceIQ, the supply of strawberries and raspberries is slowly increasing from Mexico and will steadily bring down prices over the next few weeks.

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council hosted a spectacular 17th annual Northern California Golf Tournament Oct. 4 at Wente Vineyards on Wednesday. Bringing together 120 enthusiastic tournament players from various sectors of the industry, the event drew a notable presence of retailers, including representatives from Grocery Outlet, Raley’s, Marina Market, Berkeley Bowl and Safeway.
