Dollar Tree Inc. made a key role expansion for Chief Operating Officer Mike Creedon, who will add leadership of Dollar Tree and Family Dollar merchandising and supply chain to his scope.

Last year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture alleged that Vantaggio Farming Corp. failed to make full payment promptly in the total amount of $1.16 million to two sellers for multiple lots of produce in violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act. In an update the USDA said the Carlsbad, CA-based company has resolved the complaint.

After the complaint was filed, USDA and Vantaggio entered into a Consent Decision and Order wherein Vantaggio agreed to pay the unpaid produce sellers and to pay a civil penalty in the amount of $40,000.
