Village Farms Fresh has been growing in greenhouses in North America for the past 35 years. The company operates almost 500 acres in total of Controlled Environment Agriculture in Texas and Canada, and it has partner growers throughout Mexico. The Vineland, NJ-based company sources product from throughout the world, including South America, North America, Europe and Africa, and it has year-round vegetable production from a handful of East Coast production districts, but its roots are in full view when it starts harvesting in South Jersey every spring.

Marolda Farms is a family-run company located in Vineland, NJ, that specializes in both conventionally and organically grown leafy greens and herbs, working on 250 acres for conventional and 130 acres for organic produce. 

Dümmen Orange announced the appointment of Anthony Christiaanse as its new CEO. Christiaanse succeeds Hugo Noordhoek Hegt, who has led Dümmen Orange since 2019. Noordhoek Hegt will remain closely involved with the company as a member of the Supervisory Board.

Ahold Delhaize announced its Growing Together strategy last week, outlining key plans and ambitions toward 2028. While growth is the overall aim, the company will be reducing the store count of its Stop & Shop banner.
