The Well•Pict Berries trade show team is heading back to Florida to start the year off with the Global Organic Produce Expo at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Jan. 30-Feb. 2. After the great turn out at the Global Produce and Floral Show hosted by IFPA in Orlando last year, the team is eager to be back on the show floor to showcase their delicious Well•Pict organic strawberries.

The New York Apple Association launched a series of Snack Responsibly-themed ads to its social media program just in time for the new year. The high-impact ads remind consumers to make healthy choices when choosing a snack. 

Braga Fresh is promoting Colby Pereira to chief operating officer, making her the first person to hold that title as the company enters its 95th year in business.

In 2022, AFE gave researchers at Mississippi State University an educational grant of $5,500 to start a cut flower garden on campus. This funding helped purchase perennial plants, gardening tools, and materials to create raised gardens with an irrigation system.

Dümmen Orange is making new genetics available for out-licensing to young plant growers and breeders. The company is constantly focusing on creating a rich pipeline of new products. To bring more of these genetics to the market alongside its own portfolio, Dümmen Orange is looking to setup new partnerships with industry players.  

The Bloom Show started in January 2021 on YouTube as a much-needed platform during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, The Bloom Show also started to live stream via LinkedIn, another platform for floral industry professionals.
