Morning Kiss Organic is anticipating an excellent season for sweet potatoes, a healthy and versatile crowd favorite for favorite fall dishes. Several organic varieties are available, including Garnet sweet potatoes, which have a deep reddish-purple skin and offer mild sweet flavor with savory earthiness. Continuing its forward motion into year two of new ownership and management, Snake River Produce, based in Nyssa, OR, implemented a number of changes over the past 12 months.

General Manager Joshua Frederick noted, “We have made some changes on the farm with more acreage added by a couple of our growers along with some different varieties added to the early program which started the week of Aug. 7.”

In personnel, Frederick said he maintains his role as GM for the operation and also works sales.
