ALDI U.S. CEO Jason Hart has been promoted to join the executive board of ALDI South as group chief operating officer. Hart will help oversee the company’s global operations in Salzburg, Austria, effective Sept. 1. Atty McGrath, currently chief operating officer, will assume the ALDI U.S. CEO role.

Instacart has appointed Chris Rogers CEO, effective Aug. 15, at which time he’ll also join Instacart’s board of directors. Fidji Simo, Instacart’s current CEO, will remain chair of the board, helping to ensure a smooth transition.

Emily Coborn Wright has been promoted to president of Coborn’s Inc., making her a fifth-generation leader. She brings a lifelong commitment to the company's mission, backed by a proven record of operational excellence, innovation and strategic leadership.

Throughout her career at Coborn’s Inc., Coborn Wright has served in a variety of key roles — including communications manager, director of Topco programs, district manager and vice president roles in both fresh merchandising and operations. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of growth initiatives. 

Ocean Mist Farms has hired Jeff Fulton as senior director of commodity vegetable sales.

With over 30 years of experience in sales, strategy and team leadership, Fulton brings extensive product and market expertise to his new role. His deep industry knowledge and proven track record in business development and product management have him well-poised to make an immediate impact at Ocean Mist Farms.

The California Avocado Commission board of directors has promoted Ken Melban to be the organization’s president. Melban joined the commission in 2011 as director, issues management. In 2015 he was promoted to vice president, industry affairs and has served as vice president of industry affairs and operations, as well as co-executive leader of the organization since late 2023.
