Consalo Family Farms welcomes two new executives to leadership
Two accomplished leaders have joined Consalo Family Farms and will play key roles in driving the company’s growth and expansion: Jay Schneider, executive vice president of sales and procurement, and Casey Kio, executive vice president of global business.
Schneider brings more than 30 years of experience to Consalo. His previous roles include a 25-year career at Acme Markets, where he held the position of produce director and advanced to director of merchandising for the Mid-Atlantic Division. Schneider later served as head of buying/marketplace for Gorillas US, head of sales East Coast at Pacific Trellis Fruit and most recently was the director of sales/operations at F&S Fresh Foods, where he was responsible for growing top-line sales and driving awareness of the company’s capabilities to retailers.
His expertise in retail operations and supply chain management will be invaluable as he leads the sales and procurement teams, bringing a solid retail perspective and focus on product development to enhance Consalo’s market offerings and ensure operational excellence.
With more than 20 years of experience in the global citrus and grape business, Kio brings extensive knowledge of international markets and a strong background in developing global business strategies. She has held leadership roles at Seald Sweet, Sierra Produce, AMC Direct (now known as AM Fresh) and most recently at Produce Pay.
In her new role, Kio will oversee global operations and expansion efforts, leveraging her expertise in building strategic partnerships and navigating complex international supply chains to ensure Consalo continues providing fresh, quality produce to customers worldwide.
These leadership additions reflect the commitment to growth at Consalo Family Farms. The company is confident that Kio and Schneider’s expertise will enhance capabilities in both global business as well as procurement and sales operations.
