F. Scott Salyer, who was the owner of the now-bankrupt Salinas, CA- based Salyer American Fresh Foods produce company, as well as SK Foods, which was a major player in the processed tomato industry, pled guilty Friday, March 23, to racketeering in a price-fixing scheme involving tomato products.
