An overflow crowd of well over 200 industry members listened to a dynamic panel of women retail leaders trace their unique paths and leadership philosophies in their specific careers at the Jan. 24 Northern California luncheon meeting of the Fresh Produce & Floral Council.

Southeastern Grocers Inc. has sold off its Fresco y Más banner to Fresco Retail Group LLC. SEG continues to own and operate Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery stores.

The Chilean Stone Fruit Committee has released a new estimate for this season, including nectarines, Japanese plums, European plums and peaches. Forty-four companies, representing 84 percent of Chile’s global stone fruit exports last season, contributed to the estimate.
