A&J Produce Corp., operating in Hunts Point in the Bronx, serves a wide range of customers from small retailers to distributors, caterers to restaurants, local mom and pop stores to large chain stores, and gourmet outlets.

BJ's Wholesale Club has five new clubs coming to its footprint. The retailer previously announced plans to open 12 news clubs and 15 gas stations this fiscal year. The new stores will be located in Maryville, TN, Myrtle Beach, SC, Palm Coast and West Palm Beach, FL, and Carmel, IN.

Pan Hellenic is a wholesale produce company at the Hunts Point Market in the Bronx, servicing the restaurant and foodservice industries with a full line of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables.  

The company, which began in 1993, offers a variety of produce items, including citrus fruits, herbs, melons, mushrooms, potatoes, onions, carrots, salad, tomatoes, tropicals and western vegetables.

Ten Acre Marketing has expanded its core capabilities with Sarah Ardantz, the agency’s content creation specialist, a newly created position. Ardantz will be responsible for curating and developing content for the agency’s robust portfolio of clients across agriculture, positioning their compelling stories to strategically reach key target audiences across various channels and touch points.

This Easter, Pear Bureau Northwest is offering retailers a sweet, new way to excite kids for the holiday with sheets of playful stickers designed specially to decorate pears.

“We have used the egg-shaped Anjou in imagery with Easter baskets for years,” said Kevin Moffitt, president and CEO. “We have now borrowed an idea from our kids Halloween stickers and have developed these fun, colorful stickers for kids to decorate pears like Easter eggs.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture filed an administrative complaint against Atlantic Frozen Foods LLC and Aggrigator Inc., doing business as Amor Organics, for alleged violations of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

Atlantic Frozen Foods, operating from Pennsylvania, allegedly failed to make payment promptly to six produce sellers in the amount of $1.18 million from December 2021 through May 2023.
