Macadu Fresh moving to new facility
Macadu Fresh has announced that it will be moving into its new facility on June 1. Owner Mike Madden said the new facility will help meet the company’s growing customer demand and support its continued expansion.
The new operation will have more than 70,000 square feet, putting the operation at 130,000 square feet of fully refrigerated warehouse space. Every square foot of the facility will be temperature controlled — a critical factor in maintaining product freshness and protecting the cold chain.
“Once you break the cold chain, it can create issues with product quality,” Madden said.
The new facility will also support the company’s expanding private labeling operations, allowing Macadu Fresh to better serve its customers with customized packaging and branding solutions.
Madden has consistently emphasized that service is what sets the company apart.
“You can do everything right and have the best product, but without great service, it all falls by the wayside,” he said.
Over the past five years, Macadu Fresh has experienced steady growth and plans to continue building on its core values of quality, freshness and customer service.
The company has also been expanding the farming side of the business and has major plans in place for the 2026 and 2027 growing seasons.
“It’s really exciting, and we’re looking forward to the challenge,” Madden said.
