Mini peppers delivering big taste for Divemex
They say good things come in small packages, and the new line of Divemex mini peppers is no exception, according to a press release from The Oppenheimer Group.
After a few seasons’ hiatus, the popular packs of bright, crunchy mini peppers from a leading Mexican greenhouse producer have returned. Red, yellow, and orange, and perfectly sized for snacking, Divemex mini peppers are available, in one-pound, 1.5-pound and 20-pound bulk, providing a number of attractive options for retailers.
Divemex is offering a three-count rainbow bag of its mini peppers featuring the familiar grin of ‘Sesame Street’s’ Ernie.“Our customers are familiar with the high quality of Divemex’s sweet Bell pepper line, and have embraced the mini peppers as a fun and eye-catching addition to the category,” Aaron Quon, executive category director, greenhouse, for The Oppenheimer Group, said in the release.
Like the rest of Divemex’s pepper production, the mini peppers are Fair Trade-certified and verified non-GMO.
Divemex began using the non-GMO label on all bagged peppers this year, providing reassurance to discerning consumers. And, to make the peppers even friendlier, Divemex is offering a three-count rainbow bag featuring the familiar grin of “Sesame Street’s” Ernie.
“We are excited that these sweet Bells can lend even more color to the eat brighter! movement,” Quon said in the release. “It’s a crucial time for building fresh produce consumption among young families, and we appreciate Divemex’s involvement along with Oppy in this important program.”
It should come as no surprise, according to Quon, considering how Divemex is often first to prioritize people. In addition to Fair Trade certification, and all it entails, the company takes specific measures that promote the welfare of its employees, including home-like accommodations and facilities, green spaces for recreation, child and medical care (including an on-site dental clinic in Culiacan), which are meant to re-create the feeling of community a person might miss while relocating for work.
Divemex conventional and organic sweet Bells and mini peppers are available from Oppy through May.
