Babé Farms grows, packs and ships more than 70 varieties of specialty vegetables year-round out of California’s Santa Maria Valley.

Stemilt Growers reached a milestone donation of over $1.3 million through its partnership with the Washington Apple Education Foundation. Since 2007, Stemilt has been raising funds to offer the Mathison Family scholarship, Stemilt Growers scholarship and the Thomas K. Mathison scholarship to students with direct ties to Washington’s tree fruit industry who are pursuing a college degree.

Masser Family of Cos. will showcase the new Side Delights Amazables! at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Innovations trade show in Nashville, TN, Sept. 12-14. Recently launched this past March, Amazables! will be a key item in the Masser booth and will be featured in the Wall of Innovation Showcase.

High pressure building out west will bring another round of hot temperatures to the West Coast with excessive heat warnings for Southern California and the southwestern desert regions.

During Flower Trials 2024, Beekenkamp Plants introduced Verbena Fuerte and visitors could find themselves in the colorful, sunny South American spheres. Verbena Fuerte can be used in various ways and this was shown in the presentation. From hanging baskets and mix pots, to solo pots and borders, the possibilities are endless. Visitors were impressed by the strong, robust plants and the attractive style created around them.
