IFTEX 2015 slated for June 3-5 in Kenya
The fourth edition of the International Floriculture Trade Expo will be held at the Shree Visa Oshwal Community Center in Parklands Nairobi, Kenya, June 3-5.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days. The industry-wide, international event serves all segments of the floriculture chain from breeders, propagators and growers to cargo shippers and suppliers to the trade.
Due to the growing popularity of the show, exhibition space has been increased to over 118,000-square-feet and is divided into seven individual halls. More than 170 exhibitors from over 16 countries are committed so far and buyers are expected from Europe, Russia, the United States, the Middle East, the Southeast and Africa.
Kenyan flower growers represent the largest segment of the exhibitor space but growers from other flower-producing nations exhibiting at the show include Holland, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Turkey, China, Israel, Australia, India, Rwanda, Italy, Malawi and South Africa.
Last year 187 exhibitors and 3,231 visitors from 54 different countries attended the three-day trade expo.
