Hy-Vee, Inc. is recalling two of its Hy-Vee Short Cuts vegetable mix products across its eight-state region (Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin) due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The potential for contamination was discovered during routine safety sampling at Hy-Vee’s Short Cuts production facility. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with these products.

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Purdue has appointed seven members to serve the National Mango Board. The appointees include four new members and three returning members. Appointees will serve three-year terms running Jan. 1, 2021 to Dec. 31, 2023, with the exception of one domestic producer appointee whose term will begin immediately and will end Dec. 31, 2021.
