Van Groningen and Sons offer fresh ideas to fall classics
Van Groningen and Sons Inc. has rebranded some of its tastiest pumpkins in the patch, highlighting its culinary appeal and dual usage with the launch of its new “I’m Edible” label.
“We are starting with four of our most desired varieties when it comes to cooking and showcasing their unique flavors and different uses for them in dishes,” said Jeanna Hoff, saleswoman for Van Groningen & Sons.
The new I’m Edible label will have a scannable QR code linking customers to a page on its website dedicated to that specific pumpkin.
“Our goal is to bring awareness to our customers and educate them on the different uses of our products. This will help with less waste for the consumer as well, when they can find a dual purpose for our items,” said Hoff.
The four varieties to look out for with the new label is its Fairytale Pumpkin, Mini Fairytale, Pie Pumpkin and Asian Heirloom.
Alongside this, its “Pamper’d Posse” painted pumpkin line has added some new faces this year.
“We are going back to the basics with some timeless Halloween classic designs offering a clean and modern look,” Hoff said. “This silhouette style design is aimed at capturing the appeal of all audiences. They are fun and whimsical for the kids, but also look chic on any mantel.”
These fresh faces include designs ranging from the traditional Jack O’ Lantern face to black cats and sugar skulls. They are offered on both orange and white pumpkins of varying sizes.
