TIPA, HFFVA tee up for annual golf tournament
The Texas International Produce Association and the Houston Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association announced the second annual TIPA-HFFVA Golf Tournament, taking place Friday, Sept. 26 at the Golf Club of Houston.
“Last year’s tournament proved that when you bring the Houston fresh produce community together, great things happen,” said Dante Galeazzi, TIPA president and CEO. “The connections made on the course extend far beyond the fairways, and we’re excited to see even more partnerships take root this year.”
Building on the success of last year’s debut event, which drew strong participation from across the fresh produce industry, this year’s tournament promises to deliver even greater opportunities for connection, collaboration and regional relationship building. This tournament is designed to bring together growers, shippers, retailers and allied industry partners in an environment that fosters new business opportunities and strengthens industry ties, all under the banner of a friendly competition.
Registration is open, to both TIPA members and non-members — everyone has the chance to come out and be a part of the fresh produce industry, as the TIPA-HFFVA partnership looks to reestablish our presence in the region.
