A high-pressure system is bringing near-average temperatures along the California coast and above-average temperatures inland. It will be cool in the morning with lows in the upper 30s to low 50s, and hot in the daytime with highs in the mid 60s to low 80s. As the winds turn offshore Thursday, temperatures will rise farther inland, reaching the low-upper 80s away from the coast.
