NEW YORK — The U.S. Navy invited Avocados from Peru to help commemorate America's 250th anniversary by hosting a Superfood Breakfast aboard the USS Arlington during the historic International Naval Review 250 in New York Harbor, here, on July 2.

The Kroger Co. announced Emilee De Martino will serve as its next executive vice president and chief people officer. De Martino succeeds Tim Massa, who announced he will be retiring Sept. 18.
