United Natural Foods Inc. just concluded its second successful 2024 Winter and Holiday Selling Show, where it highlighted a wide range of innovative products, programs and services aimed at helping food retailers drive profitable growth during the upcoming holiday season.

Maurice Auerbach Inc., among the largest garlic and specialty produce distributors in the Northeast, sources its diverse product line from around the world. The Secaucus, NJ-based company, under its AuerPak brand, specializes in garlic, shallots and other specialty items, including tropical and Asian produce, as well as organic garlic, asparagus, ginger and tofu.

All of the company’s main products will be showcased at the upcoming New England Produce Council’s annual Produce, Floral, and Food Service Expo.

Wisconsin red and yellow potato harvest is under way at Alsum Farms with the first potato loads being washed, graded and packed for fresh market delivery to distribution centers and retail grocers.

SpartanNash said it unveiled a new chapter in grocery shopping with the grand reopening of its Family Fare store in Holland, MI, which, it features an enhanced array of fresh meal solutions, convenience-focused food selections, a beef jerky bar and a nostalgic vintage candy station. The refreshed concept will serve as a model for future Family Fare remodels.
