Since relocating from Venezuela to Miami, the pair has built a thriving floral design business that is deeply rooted in their passion for flowers and their commitment to supporting the Latino floristry community.

Sue Carol Heger-Hanna of Heger Organic Farms died July 21. She was 84.

In her professional life, Ms. Heger-Hanna was a pioneer, one of the few women who solely sold organic produce, initially under the Heger Organic Farms label and later, after the death of her first spouse, Lloyd, under Joe Heger Farms. For 30 years, Ms. Heger-Hanna devoted herself to the agriculture industry, demonstrating the same dedication in her work as she did in every aspect of her life.

Zespri’s counter-seasonal Zespri Global Supply program is under way, supporting its efforts to deliver a 12-month supply to key customers in key markets, to build the Zespri brand and to deliver strong, sustainable grower returns in an increasingly competitive kiwifruit category.
